FTPP (Fat Targeted Proapoptotic Peptide), also known as Adipotide, is a peptidomimetic that targets and disrupts blood supply to white adipose tissue. It contains a targeting domain (CKGGRAKDC) that binds prohibitin on the surface of adipose vasculature, coupled to a proapoptotic peptide. Research in primate models has demonstrated significant reduction in body fat through targeted vascular disruption of adipose tissue.
